What to Expect

  • Corrib Theatre has no home venue. Our productions are performed at venues across Portland. Check the individual show page for locations, and the Directions page for directions!

  • We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to your show start time. This will allow time to park, check in, choose your seat, and read the program.

  • If traffic or weather is especially bad, we may hold the show for a few minutes for late arrivals. Once we start, we often can admit latecomers at an appropriate time in the performance. When the house manager lets you in, you will need to sit in the closest seats to the door. Due to the intimate nature of certain productions, there may be no late seating offered. Please note that if you do not arrive by curtain time, your seats may be given to other patrons and no longer be available. However, you will have the option to reschedule for another performance at no additional cost.

  • Our audiences dress very casually. However, we are always pleased to see fun or themed theatre-going outfits!

  • Yes. You may exchange tickets online or give us a call up to one hour before curtain time on the date of your tickets. You will be able to exchange your tickets for a different performance of the same show at no extra cost. Note however that there are no refunds.

  • We strongly encourage bringing children to experience theatre when the content is appropriate for their age and maturity. 

    We offer content warnings for each production on the webpage for the specific play, as well as our best guess at an age recommendation. Feel free to contact us with any questions about the content of a performance to determine whether to bring your child.

  • Photos, videos, and audio recording are absolutely not allowed during a performance.

    However, we encourage you to take photos and videos of the theatre and the set before or after the show. If you are sharing on social media, we love it when you tag us: (Facebook and Instagram) @CorribTheatre.

    You may share professional photos of the performances that are posted on our website and social media. Please credit our photographers and tag us!

  • Service animals are always welcome with their handlers. A service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.

    For the safety of our patrons, and to avoid any possible disturbance of the performance, emotional support dogs may NOT enter the lobby or the theatre.

  • We provide one ASL-interpreted performance per Mainstage production. Please see the show page for dates and details.

    All of our venues are fully wheelchair accessible.
