The Mícheál Ó Domhnaill Branch of Oregon is very generously hosting a Bloomsday fundraising event to benefit Corrib Theatre

Come explore the musical corners of James Joyce’s urban epic ULYSSES as members of Corrib Theater and Portland’s Irish music community present selected readings and musical numbers showcased in this beloved Joycean classic. Curated by MÓD’s Nancy Jarrell; songs, tunes, dances, and selected scenes with be detailed and ‘professorialized’ by one of Portland’s favorite Irish publicans, Mr. Tom O’Leary, to aid the audience in grasping the marvel that is ULYSSES!

Doors open at 6:45pm and the show starts at 7:00pm. As always community music making to follow! Seating at Artichoke is limited so arriving promptly is strongly encouraged. The door is $10 and the venue features a bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks. Bring extra cash to throw into Joyce’s iconic straw hat to see Corrib Theatre through another exciting year of amazing theater!

Artichoke Community Music is located at 2007 SE Powell Blvd at the corner of SE 20th. Spread the word and invite your friends. This will be a night to remember!
